Fire Protection
We have differentiated our fire fighting team into three parts who will perform the job integrally:
Preventive measures: ‘Safety first!’ is our slogan and we believe it in our daily working life in Norban Group. Fire is one of our primary and vital safety concerns. Statistically a manufacturing plant is always at risk of catching fire so we have taken precautionary steps to prevent the damage of any lives and material caused by such undesired incident. We check all of our electrical distribution board by authorized technical team of the company once in every month. Our preventive measures include every employees training on the operation of the fire equipments that are available at every strategic location of the factory premises. We conduct unnoticed fire drills more than once in a month to improve the employee’s efficiency on evacuation in case of real fire incident.
During fire: Groups of dedicated and efficient fire fighter always remains stand by to take part in extinguishing fire directly as and when require. Another group is responsible to help evacuating the place and call for nearest fire service people.
Post fire procedure: It is also an integral part of fire drill once fire is managed, a small team will dig out whether there are any wounded persons remain in the floors, if found arrange taking them to the nearest hospital followed by initial first aid, if required.
Professional Atmosphere
In this factory a team of efficient management facilitates cordial relationship between the workers and management. Therefore, good harmony and friendly working environment prevails throughout the organization due to good management system. Meticulous attention is paid to the welfare and socio-economic development of the workers and such effort resulting greater productivity, higher employee attendance and minimal manpower turnover.
In House Medical Facilities
Employee welfare is one of the major concentrations of Norban Group. ; therefore, we have a team of qualified doctor, certified nurse and well trained medical assistants who remain standby during working hours in the factory. The assigned first aider teams, attired in distinguishable jacket provide necessary first aid service with medicine and medical stuff from the available first aid boxes attached against every floor wall. The employees undergo regular medical checkup by the appointed doctor to make sure whether they have been suffering from any occupational disease.
Dining Room
Spacious dining rooms are provided for the benefit of the employees where they take their lunch in clean and hygienic environment. There are separate dining rooms in accordance to the hierarchy of the employee. Lunch for the higher officials is provided by the office on minimal subscription. Most of the workers carry their lunch and have it in the assigned dining area with all logistic support.
Prayer Room
The company embraces and celebrates the religious and spiritual activities of Muslim community. Thus, gender wise separate prayer rooms are available for workers and staffs to perform their prayer during working hour for their mental salvation.
Child Care
An excellent Child Care Centre is established with good indoor physical environment set up. It is aimed for the female employees, so that they can keep their child in a safe and comfortable place and work with sound mind and give their maximum. Ensuring affordable and quality child day care especially for children under age 6 is a serious concern of the company. The child care room accommodates 60 children with separate sleeping zone, breast feeding zone, playing zone with toys and indoor game facility. The learning environment in the care centre is an atmosphere that meets the children’s developmental needs. For the children it is an atmosphere where they can develop their ability and interests and become independent. There is also cleaning and drying facility within the premise to ensure utmost hygienic condition under the supervision of two female attendants.
In-House Subsidized Shop
The company has initiated In-house subsidized shop in the fashion of a retail store. It is ensuring convenient and affordable shopping only for the employees. The items are sold at below the market prices, as well as duty free charges. The workers are comfortable to buy their required snacks with a fair price from the full-time subsidized canteen.
